When and where?
Thursday 22 May 2025
10:00 to 12:00
CREAT3D Showroom
520 Eskdale Road, Winnersh Triangle, Wokingham, Berkshire, RG41 5TU
Why attend?
3D scanning provides a practical and accurate solution for capturing the physical geometry of existing components, especially when original CAD data is unavailable or outdated or, the part geometry is too complex to measure and design in CAD.
3D scanning is ideal for:
- Maintenance and repair - fix it with speed, ease and at low cost. Don't bin it, or have to wait weeks for replacements from suppliers
- Restoration - revive form and function from vehicles to replica items, costumes, buildings, decoration or art easily and at low cost
- Obsolete or hard to find parts - use scanners to speed up reverse engineering and update parts for better functionality
- Non-digitised parts - use scanners to capture unique detail to digitise files for easy storage and future use
- Complex geometries - scan what's hard to design in CAD
- Custom geometries - scan patients or existing machinery and voids to achieve exact fit
- Test and validate parts - use 3D scanners to capture real measurements in quality control
What's the agenda?
